After earning a Bachelor of Science ('08) and Master of Architecture ('13) degrees at the University of Maryland, College Park, and working at prominent architectural firms in Baltimore, D.C., and Bethesda, Tamir established ddb Workshop in 2015. ddb Workshop is a Baltimore-based firm focused on infusing knowledge from design, development and building into one practice. ddb has continued to grow since 2015 shifting the conversation from simply providing design services to guiding a holistic building approach. Tamir develops his own projects, serving as his own client, and couples that with service work where his clients have trusted his team to lead design and construction efforts on scales ranging from small kitchen renovations to 30 unit, mixed-use adaptive reuse projects. He has been recognized for his unique approach with AIA Baltimore, ULI and Baltimore Heritage awards.
